Job Description
LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager to join a leading manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact leadership role offering visibility across operations and finance, exposure to global teams, and significant opportunities for career growth. You will lead a team, manage cost and property accounting processes, and provide strategic insights that drive operational and financial performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering development and career growth.
Oversee cost accounting and property accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage monthly close activities, including analysis of material and manufacturing variances.
Develop and monitor costing policies and procedures; ensure consistency across global operations.
Coordinate annual standard labor and overhead rate development with plant controllers.
Drive SOX compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
Support acquisition accounting, plant consolidations, and transition projects.
Collaborate with global finance teams and leverage shared services and capability centers.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved forecasting.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, including cost accounting or plant controllership.
Manufacturing industry experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
Work Environment
Full-time position with a hybrid schedule (typically 4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
