*Overview*
One of Chattanooga, Tennessee’s most established law firms, Luther-Anderson is seeking to hire an associate attorney to join the firm. Over the past 50 years, the firm has provided experience and legal services, primarily as a defense firm for the insurance industry, but currently offers a full range of litigation expertise in the area of automobile and motor carrier liability, construction litigation, professional liability, real estate litigation, product liability, contract disputes and litigation, premises liability, personal injury, workers’ compensation, as well as criminal law and family law.

The firm is an AV firm rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available. Our attorneys are admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts. We are regularly engaged in practice in both Tennessee and Georgia.

The firm is located in downtown Chattanooga, giving us easy access for our clients and to the local courts. Chattanooga, Tennessee is strategically located approximately two hours from Atlanta, Nashville, and Knoxville.

Interested candidates must be licesned to practice in Tennessee or Georgia. Please submit a resume, cover letter and brief writing sample (no more than five pages).

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on various cases and issues.
* Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
* Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters.
* Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
* Manage case files efficiently while maintaining accurate records.

*Requirements*

* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the state bar of Tennessee or Georgia.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
* Proficiency in legal drafting and familiarity with relevant software tools.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
