We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to support financial operations for our organization in Norwell, Massachusetts. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with ownership on key financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statement preparation. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong bookkeeping expertise and proficiency in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports to support business operations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with ownership on backlog tasks and other financial priorities.
• Utilize QuickBooks for daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and vendors regarding financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide support for payroll processes using ADP and other related systems.
• Assist in maintaining organized and accurate financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and efficiencies.• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Online, and other financial software.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and practices.
