Job Title: Dishwasher Position Summary:

The Dishwasher is a critical part of the hospital café’s operations, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role supports the kitchen and treyline teams by ensuring all dishware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use.

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and sinks.
• Sort and organize clean items for storage and future use.
• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and proper disposal of food waste.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food prep and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Monitor chemical levels and ensure proper usage of cleaning agents.
• Follow all hospital and departmental safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• 1.5+ years of experience in the food service industry.
• 1.5+ years of job tenure at previous employers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 100 lbs .
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
• Experience in food service, cleaning, and food preparation .

• Full-time shifts available, including weekends and holidays.
• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
