About Us
Pennsylvania-based CPA firm serving small business owners nationwide is expanding into full-service tax preparation. We're looking for an experienced Enrolled Agent to prepare S-Corp (1120-S), Partnership (1065), and individual small-business returns (Schedule C/E). Start part-time (15-20 hrs/wk) with a path to full-time W-2 employment.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to build a tax practice from the ground up. We have coaching & bookkeeping clients anxiously waiting for us to take this step. You will get input on choosing the software and designing the onboarding process for clients. We are seeking an Enrolled Agent (EA) with proven experience preparing:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident in handling complex tax issues, and enjoys working with small business owners.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040 with Schedule C/E, 1065, 1120-S).
Represent clients before the IRS when necessary (within EA authority).
Collaborate with our bookkeeping and consulting team to ensure accurate year-end reporting.
Provide responsive and clear communication with clients nationwide.

Compensation
$50-$60 hourly rate for tax preparation services.
Paid continuing education and EA renewal fees, starting upon hire.
One paid conference per year with travel costs included, after one year of employment.

Qualifications
Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license required.
Minimum 3-5+ years ofhands-on tax preparation experience.
Strong knowledge of S-Corp and real estate taxation.
Experience with tax software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
