divh2Field Maintenance Technician/h2pNASA Federal Credit Union is looking for a full time Field Maintenance Technician to order and maintain maintenance supplies and equipment. The Field Maintenance Technician will perform shipping receiving functions, as well as assist with field maintenance at all of our branch locations, and facility projects. Travel between branches multiple times per week. Must have a valid drivers license./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the Following with Other Duties as Assigned. Level I:/h3ulliRemains cognizant of and adheres to Credit Union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act./liliWorks with and maintains grounds and grounds irrigation systems./liliInstalls display graphics, marketing posters, pictures, A/V systems, etc./liliReceives and transports construction materials and other items to branches./liliHandles meeting room set-ups./liliSpreads paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection./liliSprays materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hose to clean, coat, or seal surfaces./liliApplies caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices./liliOrders and maintains maintenance supplies and equipment./liliConducts routine preventative maintenance according to established guidelines and schedules./liliRequisitions tools, equipment, and supplies./liliHangs/replaces ceiling tile./liliThis position backs-up all Shipping/Receiving Specialist duties and may perform some or all the responsibilities on a regular basis./liliAssists the Field Maintenance Technician II/Sr. Field Maintenance Technician as needed./li/ulh3Level II: (Performs all the duties of the Level I)/h3ulliTroubleshoots and performs minor repairs on branch banking equipment, copiers, and lighting./liliPerforms basic installation of cameras, security monitors, LCD, and digital display units./liliRuns data lines, terminates cables, punches down data lines to terminal blocks./liliDetects malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, power supplies, motors, and positions sensing devices./liliReplaces damaged or broken wires using test equipment and hand tools./liliPerforms basic plumbing repairs and maintenance./liliLoad tests batteries for bank equipment and alarm systems. Replace as necessary./liliAnalyzes and resolves work problems and assists fellow employees in solving work problems./liliRepairs or replaces drywall, ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, ceramic tiles, VCT./liliRepairs or reconfigures modular furniture./liliInstalls hardware, locks, doors, cabinets./liliResponds to alarm calls associated with Facility-related issues./liliPerforms emergency repairs during off-business hours (on call)./liliRepairs and installs electrical systems, apparatus and electrical/electronic components such as; motion sensors, and lighting controls./liliMaintains computer records of Preventive Maintenance repairs and tests./liliEvaluates faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction./liliMay assist with oversight of workers/contractors engaged in installing, servicing, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment./li/ulh3Education and Experience: Level I:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training./liliMust have a valid Drivers License and vehicle./liliAbility to work on-call shifts, as scheduled./li/ulh3Level II: (Meets all Level I requirements)/h3ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to four years related experience and/or training./liliCertificates and/or specialize course work in: Basic plumbing and troubleshooting./li/ulh3Physical Demands:/h3ulliThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
