Final Touch Contracting is seeking a skilled and motivated Finish Carpenter to join our field operations team. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll contribute directly to high-end kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects across the St. Louis area. From trim carpentry and cabinetry to custom built-ins and final details, your craftsmanship will bring our clients’ visions to life. You’ll be counted on to manage projects from start to finish, deliver precision work, and provide outstanding service. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform expert finish carpentry on remodels—trim, baseboards, crown molding, wainscoting, doors, windows, and more.

  • Install cabinetry, vanities, shelving, and custom built-ins with top-tier precision.

  • Execute accurate layouts and measurements for seamless installations.

  • Support light framing, demolition, and rough carpentry tasks as needed.

  • Read blueprints, design plans, and material lists to ensure aligned execution.

  • Work with hardwoods, MDF, composites, and specialty millwork materials.

  • Collaborate with project managers to meet timelines and quality expectations.

  • Solve jobsite challenges efficiently while upholding design and code standards.

  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Maintain clean, professional, and organized job sites.

  • Communicate directly with clients when needed to ensure satisfaction and clarity.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finish carpentry or residential remodeling experience preferred.

  • High proficiency in installing cabinetry, doors, millwork, and trim.

  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and design specifications.

  • Knowledge of residential construction and framing fundamentals.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent judgment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Self-starter mindset with attention to detail and time management.

  • Reliable transportation to job sites in the St. Louis area.

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical carpentry tasks daily.

  • Carpentry certifications or vocational training are a plus.
