About the Role: The Forensic Interviewer conducts forensic interviews of victims of child sexual abuse and sexual assault, as well as other crimes and exposure to violence. They also provide, on a rotating, on-call basis, after hours/urgent/emergency forensic interview services. They will also conduct forensic interview training.
Key Responsibilities: - Interview victims and witnesses of sexual abuse/sexual assault and their non-offending caretakers and family members on site at Center for Hope.
- Complete administrative tasks as it relates to the Forensic Interview Program.
- Testify if criminal and family court proceedings.
- Provide education, community outreach and preventative services to community members as needed/required.
Requirements: - Education: Master of Social Work
- Licensure: State of Maryland LCSW, LCPS or Psychology license
- Experience: Minimum one year of social work experience, specifically in the realm of sexual abuse/assault/forensic experience
