We are looking for a dedicated General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on financial reporting, reconciliation, and general accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Record and review journal entries, accruals, and other adjusting entries.
• Manage coding of daily deposits and accounts payable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and payroll reconciliations with precision.
• Maintain and update depreciation schedules for fixed assets.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Compile tax and audit schedules to support compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with field offices to manage and verify financial information.
• Provide assistance during external audits and work closely with the internal tax team.
• Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned to support the accounting team.• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting principles and processes.
• Hands-on experience with fixed assets and managing debt or security investments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in delivering high-quality work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and work cross-functionally with other departments.
