Job Description

Our client, an industrial manufacturing facility, is seeking a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to join their team. As a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Location: Middletown, NY

Pay Range: $23.00-$26.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 12PM-10PM

What's the Job?

• Install, repair, and monitor industrial processing and production machinery
• Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Source replacement parts and perform repairs efficiently
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to update production processes and system software

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics
• Strong electrical systems knowledge
• Comfortable working with computers and operating hand, power, and specialized tools
• High school diploma or GED; technical or college training preferred
