Busy, high quality package printing company in VA is expanding operations. They are hiring experienced Lead Offset Press Operator for 12 hour day and night shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Read and interpret job instructions.
- Make ready 40" press for job runs to meet specifications, and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the job.
- Inspect quality throughout the run.
- Press maintenance.
- Assist with client press okays.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 -7 years' experience operating multi-unit 40" sheetfed offset presses; KBA exp. a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Experience using Continuous Improvement Methods.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team building skills.
- UV experience a plus.
- PC proficient (basic skills).
- Able to work 12 hour shift.
