Job description
The Oil City YMCA is hiring part-time Membership staff to support the YMCA membership team and Kid Zone. Applicants must have interest and previous experience working with children.
The following shifts are available:
The YMCA is seeking responsible adults (18+) to work as a frontline employee at the membership desk. Membership responsibilities include answering phones, providing excellent customer service to members, utilizing software for registration, membership sales, communicating with leaders and other staff, handling money, and modeling the Y's mission through service.
Kid Zone is offered to YMCA members while they are working out inside the YMCA. Kid Zone staff are responsible for caring for children from age 8 months to 7 years old.
CPR/First Aid, Child Abuse, Criminal History and FBI clearances must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Applicants with previous experience are preferred. Ability to stand, sit on the floor, engage with children, and interact with parents is required.
