As a Security Guard Government Patrol in Ventura, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols will play a key role in providing peace of mind and upholding a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will also have the opportunity to interact with the public and provide exceptional customer service, while communicating clearly and responding to incidents as needed. What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with crowd management and/or access control during special events or high-traffic periods at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license in the job state is required for driving positions.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
