Position Title Student Transcriptionist - Engineering Online
Working Title (if different from Position Title) Job Summary Working for the Engineering Online Instructional Designer assisting with the transcription of online classes.
Essential Functions Students working in this position must be prompt and reliable. They will be primarily working from their laptop, where they will assist with the closed-captioning of the online courses.
This job will require the ability to listen to audio responses and transcribe the speaker word for word. The work is very detail-oriented and meticulous. The transcriber must be able to listen, read, and write in English. Familiarity with Panopto and Word is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications Must be a student worker who can be reliable and prompt. Completing assigned tasks is imperative to quality of our online courses.
Must be able to listen and pay attention to detail. Must be fluent in written English communication.
Preferred Qualifications We are located in Ramsay Hall, however this job can be completed from a laptop and secure network anywhere.
Pay Rate $10.00/hour
Work Hours 10-15
