In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing cyber threats, producing actionable intelligence, and supporting the development of detection capabilities. You will work closely with threat researchers and detection engineers to transform raw data into meaningful insights, delivering both technical briefings and executive-level summaries. This position allows for creativity in threat intelligence-driven content, presentations, and reporting, while also contributing to industry-wide knowledge sharing at conferences and events. Operating in a collaborative yet autonomous environment, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on cybersecurity outcomes across a range of organizations.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver monthly threat intelligence reports on significant cyber events using internal telemetry.
  • Conduct internal briefings for technical teams and executive summaries for leadership.
  • Translate threat intelligence into actionable detection opportunities to support threat-hunting and engineering teams.
  • Take ownership of creating threat intelligence-focused marketing content.
  • Present intelligence findings at CTI-focused conferences and industry events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve threat detection and intelligence workflows.
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, threat hunting, or related cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong expertise in mapping adversary activity to MITRE ATT&CK and describing TTPs.
  • Familiarity with Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs), intelligence tooling, formats (e.g., MISP, STIX/TAXII), and enrichment sources.
  • Proven ability to produce intelligence reports and deliver briefings for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, investigative mindset, and the ability to work independently as well as in a small team.
  • Experience contributing to threat intelligence presentations or industry knowledge sharing is a plus.
  • Benefits:

  • Flexible work location: Bochum, Germany or remote within Europe.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-impact, technology-driven cybersecurity scale-up.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge threat intelligence tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Participation in industry events and conferences to share knowledge and enhance visibility.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package aligned with experience and market standards.
