• 60 dollars per hour taxed
• 1246 dollars weekly per diem
• 500 dollar travel allowance
Contract
Full time federal assignment with Indian Health Service. Day shift. Outpatient radiology with cross support for walk in care.
Overview
You support a busy outpatient clinic that serves a rural Navajo community. You work with providers across primary care, acute care, and specialty services. You deliver clear and accurate imaging for all ages.
Duties
• Perform outpatient radiologic studies
• Support the walk in clinic
• Provide care for all ages
• Explain procedures and position patients
• Triage critical and emergency exams
• Communicate urgent findings to providers
• Set and verify equipment controls
• Check images for quality and repeat studies when needed
• Maintain equipment and complete routine checks
• Clean rooms and manage supplies
• Log all work and update patient records in the EHR
• Follow ARRT QC requirements
• Provide CPR if needed
• Follow infection control rules
• Support radiologists with complex exams
• Maintain orderly documentation and records
Qualifications
• Accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT or ARDMS registration
• Active state license
• BLS from AHA
• Updated resume
• COVID vaccine with booster
• Skills checklist completed within 12 months
• Two supervisory references
• Proof of certifications
• Motor vehicle license recommended due to remote location
• At least 12 months experience
Skills
• Strong patient communication
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage high volume days
• Experience with RPMS or VA EHR helps
Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Forty hours per week
• Overtime possible up to five hours
• Holidays not worked
