Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Interventional Technologist with 2+ years of IR procedural and hands-on scrubbing experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a cardiac cath lab performing interventional radiology procedures
• Case mix includes cardiac and vascular interventions, with opportunities to assist on emergent cases and embolizations
• Experience with Siemens equipment and CT spin is preferred
• Team operates 4x10 hour shifts, full-time from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required: 1 weekend and 4 weekdays per month
• Floating to affiliated hospital locations may be required
• Responsibilities include patient preparation, explanation of procedures, and assisting physicians with complex diagnostic invasive procedures
• Prepares contrast media, medications, and sets up sterile equipment for procedures
• Ensures adequate inventory of supplies and maintains appropriate documentation in EMR and RIS systems
• Expected to demonstrate principles of radiation protection and ensure high-quality imaging
• Online modules and training must be completed onsite, typically one week prior to the assignment start date
• COVID vaccination is required
• RTO must be requested prior to assignment; post-offer requests will require manager approval
• Dress code requirements will be provided during orientation

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology with hands-on scrubbing duties
• Active BLS certification through AHA required
• ACLS preferred
• Must be registered with the ARRT with advanced registry in CI, VI, or CV
• High school diploma or GED required, along with required hours of CME
• Active MI Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• Familiarity with operation of Siemens equipment and CT spin preferred
