Job Summary : -

We are seeking a highly skilled Citrix Engineer Consultant to lead and support the design, migration, and maintenance of our Citrix environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) administration, migration between Citrix versions, and deep expertise with StoreFront, Citrix NetScaler (ADC), and Windows Server environments. Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Lead Citrix environment migrations ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Install, configure, and manage Virtual Delivery Agents (VDA) and Citrix StoreFront components.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Citrix NetScaler (ADC) appliances, including gateway and load-balancing configurations.
• Configure and manage networking, subnets, VLANs, and IP address allocations within the Citrix infrastructure.
• Set up and troubleshoot Citrix printing, including printer redirection and universal print driver issues.
• Support and manage COM object registration and troubleshooting within Citrix sessions.
• Perform Windows Server management, patching, and performance troubleshooting across Citrix infrastructure servers.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, health checks, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and reliability of Citrix services.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and performance tuning for Citrix environments and end-user sessions.
• Document configurations, migration steps, and operational procedures for long-term maintainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :-

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Citrix Engineer or Consultant.
• Proven experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) across multiple versions.
• Deep technical knowledge of Citrix StoreFront, Citrix NetScaler (ADC), and Citrix Director/Studio.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and environment management.
• Experience with COM object troubleshooting, printer mapping, and session performance optimization.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing, SSL certificates).

Preferred Qualifications :-

• Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V or higher) certification.
• Experience with Citrix Cloud or hybrid deployments.
• Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop or VMware Horizon environments.
• Exposure to monitoring and log analysis tools (e.g., Citrix Director, ControlUp, Splunk).
