Schedule: Part Time | 16 hours per pay period, includes every other weekend and holiday rotation | 6a-2:30p

Create your best self as a Nursing Assistant

In this role, you will play an essential part in providing personalized care, support and companionship to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being are nurtured every day. Join us, we'd love to support you in your work journey.

Cares: As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide hands-on care to the resident, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as part of their Plan of Care. This includes dressing, grooming, meals, mouth care, toileting, bathing, walking and other transferring techniques. Observe changes in resident and carry out simple treatment procedures while working with the Charge Nurse. Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration). Encourage socialization through activities and resident interaction. Talk with and listen to resident during cares and offer support and comfort to resident who is dying and their family.

Collaborate: Work closely with the activities department, dining, housekeeping, and all other departments. Experience frequent contact and communication with staff, residents, family members and visitors. Work closely as one team to live out our mission.

Qualifications: -

• You love caring for others and want to help our residents achieve "their best day" while providing high quality care (physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual).
• You have an active CNA certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
• You have 12 hours of continuing education annually
