EHS Specialist – Direct Hire – Seville, OH

Starting salary is $80-$85K

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Manpower is assisting a rapidly growing manufacturer local to Seville, OH in hiring an EHS Specialist to join their amazing team! The right candidate should have at least 2-3 years prior experience in the manufacturing industry.The HSE Specialist will work in a team environment where accountability for injury/illness prevention, HSE compliance assurance and asset protection is incumbent on both the leadership team and the plant associate production team.

Health, Safety & Environmental (EHS Specialist) – Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve site HSE systems in compliance with regulations and corporate standards.
• Ensure timely completion and documentation of safety training.
• Implement corporate safety initiatives and reduce workplace injuries.
• Investigate and report occupational incidents promptly.
• Represent the site in corporate HSE networks and communicate updates.
• Review capital projects for safety and environmental compliance.
• Monitor contractor activities for OSHA and site safety adherence.
• Complete required safety checks (e.g., eyewash stations, showers).
• Analyze HSE KPIs to identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with plant staff on HSE matters.
• Maintain compliance with environmental permits and reporting.
• Lead wellness initiatives tailored to site needs.
• Participate in plant leadership and support additional HSE tasks as needed.
