The Pediatric Caregiver at 5 Star Home Care will provide compassionate and high- quality care to pediatric patients in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is a part- time, hourly job and will require an individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a Pediatric Caregiver, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide direct care and assistance to pediatric patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse 
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding.
• Monitor and record patient's vitals signs and report any changes to the supervising notes 
• Help create a safe and stimulating environment for pediatric patients 
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and health care team members 
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care 
• Adhere to to all safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification 
• 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric patients preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric medical care 
• Bilingual in Spanish 
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays, as needed.
