\nInterventional Technologist I - IR Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 4x10 hour shifts with call requirements
\n• Take 5-8 days of call per month
\n• Work 48 hours on weekends, 12 hours per week
\n• Entry-level position under immediate to general supervision with mentor/preceptor
\n• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients
\n• Perform vascular, neuro and body studies
\n• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
\n• Utilize specialized Siemens & GE cardiovascular and radiologic equipment
\n• Work with 2 techs and 2 nurses per room
\n• Perform diverse range of diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures
\n• Conduct post-procedure reviews and confirm technical quality standards
\n• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
\n• Perform quality control checks, equipment cleaning and maintenance
\n• Participate in 13 weeks of training program
\n• Associate's degree or higher required
\n• One required certification: ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular/Cardiac Interventional or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS), plus BLS
\n• Level 1 experience preferred
\n• Must be able to multi-task, remain calm in stressful situations, and work with minimum supervision
