ART DRAWING COMPETITION – 2016

In 2015 -2016 as part of this activity we held an art drawing competition (please see activity 1.3 of this report). This art competition was on the theme of importance of reconciliation which was conducted in Trincomalee in 2015 in Y1 and in Kandy on 7 July 2016. The winners (7 children) participated in a  one day training programme on advance drawing/ painting and their drawings were  used during an art exhibition in Kandy for World’s Children day in October 2016.  The drawings of this competition was used to develop the cartoon book in 2017 which is now produced in Sinhala and Tamil.
